the new taiwanese heart-throb Mark Chao is just so charming hot! cant take my eyes off him during the entire show. its a great movie coupled with values on true friendship/brotherhood. thumbs up!

oh and anticipating on the coming week - Ip man 2 versus Ironman 2!

dinner @ Ippudo again! food is as good as before no doubt abt it. and i realised it would taste even much better with the addition of these condiments (DIY mashed-garlic, black&white pepper, chili powder, sesame seeds).

and if you are paying ur bill by ocbc card, it comes with a complimentary green tea ice cream! yummy! :)

everybody's talking bout it during the first week of released. but i think its over-rated! not very fantastic.

at one point, i felt like im watching percy jackson movie. haha i cant help but to keep comparing between the two shows. so damn alike!

its kinda of a last min choice to watch this show. and as usual, last min stuffs always turn out to be not too good. :/ i must say it's really a very lame and stupid show, literally with no storyline. boo-boo! given a second chance, i would never choose to watch this show.

finally, pull myself up to update after months of 'hibernation'.

been busy with the usual routine stuffs - movies, mj, hanging out with colleagues after work, friends and bf.
and of course gearing up for the nxt promotion which will be due soon! :D it's time to move on! many transitions to take place in april , not forgetting the big fat variable bonus which is on the way too! heheh and my bro will be graduating soon in MAY! his graduation trip - around the world in 14days! backpacking in EUROPE to visit Paris, Rome and Barcelona and so on. how great! his poor sis will be stuck in SG slogging away. LOL

one happy thing worth mentioning. my mum had seen my bf! i brought him for dinner tog with my mum, bro and his gf. a simple, yet memorable dinner. it may seems trivial to others, but it's actually a kind of affirmation for me and to our relationship. and that's why it matters so much to us. im glad we had this dinner tog. :D

latest movies we had watched.

alice in WONDERLAND! the non-3D version. cuz i dun really like the 3D effects, it makes your head go spinning away. haha hmm the show turns out to be better than what i have expected. u will like it if u love childhood fairytales story.

another one... when in ROME! recommended by serene! haha u didnt disappoint me!
its all about laughter and a tinge of romance. i didnt regret choosing this show over "how to train your dragon". heheh

and we had dinner @ Ippudo! highly recommended by food critics in the papers and magzines and my bro too!
we queued for almost an hour outside the restaurant and its like during off-dinner timing. zzz but good food is always worth the wait! haha the soup base is tasty, the flavoured egg is soft and one bite u can see the yellow yolk juicing out. u can even choose the texture of the ramen- soft, medium, hard.
overall, it's undeniable that this ramen is one of the best in town.

anyway, here are the cut-short updates for the past 2wks.

caught this show twice! once with deardear and the 2nd time was a treat with my colleagues heheh a touching true story of a very loyal dog! i just love watching movies associated with dogs and everytime i would bump into the same old friend of mine who owns a sheltie dog too. ahahah just so coincidence! alright mayb the whole theatre hall is filled with dog-lovers hahaha

i love this movie! its has been sucha long time since i really watched a good show, laughing my hearts out like monkeys. haha its hilarious! and adoring dwayne johnson's great bods is more than enough. haha

this could very well justified comedy movie as my perfect cup of tea! heheh no matter how bad a comedy show is, it just makes you laugh. haha

... and we did our haircut at JERIC salon ion. sharing the same hairstylist! he's good and understand what i really want for my hair and so im gonna make him my personal hairstyist for the entire year heheh goodbye REDS, goodbye RITA HO! =p

nope, there aint any countdown party for year 2009, to avoid crowded places and partly because we didnt manage to secure seating tickets for the countdown show which we initially wanted.

we had our last day of 2009 dinner at this jap restaurant at ion orchard, just the two of us only. the food is yummy great! first time eating the raw scallops which tasted slimy yet sweet. haha alright let the pics do the talking.

had an advanced birthday celebration for tingting's 22nd with the same old clique. 1st time dear dear driving us to town! hehe and dinner was at hardrock cafe! :D good food and great music! wish tingting had a great hard rocking 22nd birthday! heheh then went to catch xmas carol 3d max! graphics was superb but the storyline is real bad and boring! only get to enjoy the show during the last 15mins as it slowly picks up.

anyway, before the show we had dinner at Jpot! a hotpot SG style by JUMBO seafood! had been wanting to try that long long ago, but everytime it was fully booked! so this time i called in earlier to make reservations heheh and we are on waiting list zzz luckily we still managed to go in!

read from the papers that the the Jpot superior broth and silky porridge soup base is highly recommended so of course we ordered that la. haha

its official!

i will be converted to service ambassdor (SA). phew like finally man! after going through interviews and struggling with few other staffs over this position. training will start tml!
when was the last time i returned back to head office for training? hmm almost 1.5 yrs ago le!
time really flies man!

but its very weird. im supposed to be happy for myself, to be given a chance, and a step closer to my dream goal. but im not exactly happy about it. for i know very well, i will be counting down to my days in this branch. sigh. its an inevitable thing that im gonna be transferred out once im converted to sa. the least i can do now is to appreciate my surroundings and colleagues each and every working day since i will be leaving soon. not to take things for granted that i have a very good bunch of understanding colleagues.

on a less happy note. for the second time again, i have failed my tp! yes its the same fate again. i could nearly passed cuz this time round my results was 24pts! alright im trying to console myself la. haha its a matter of fact that i have failed. im such a failure. such a letdown to ppl who had pinned high hopes on me. :/ perhaps im just not cut out to be a driver. but again, im not going to give up so soon! haha

had a mini getaway frm the cities on sun-mon. a stress-free lifestlye for this 2days break!

we checked into the Orchid Country Club (OCC) family room on sun afternoon. its our very 1st time there and i must say this is the biggest hotel room i had ever stayed in. how i wish i could bring my 2dogs here too!

we had pizza delivery for our dinner in the room and after that its MAHJONG time! woos!

the nxt morning, dear dear went off to wrk and we had breakfast which is arranged by the hotel.

after the meal, we went for a 15mins sauna session and to the swimming pool for jacuzzi. woohoos. really damn relaxed la. haha if only life remains like this heheh

headed to northpt for lunch and we managed to catch "THE UGLY TRUTH" at amk hub.

omg the show is damn nice and funny la. i dun mind watching it again! haha

we celebrated by having a sumptuous dinner at the Greenhouse which i have booked one mth ago.

the seafood are undeniable fresh, and the grilled lobster is real big n juicy, which comes with the pincer meat too! just having the seafood n sashimi are enough to round up for a heavenly sensation. haha

there will a next visit definitely!

chanced upon Kenko fish spa while on the way to catch a movie after the dinner. there was this promotion going on for 10mins for $10 fish spa and so we decided to go in for a try since we are early for the movie. we had a 20mins session! woos

big disappointment! the plot is badly done, and characters are dying too fast. lots of computer graphics and the short time frame of the movie looks as if everything is so buget constraint. boo!

bought baby choco for a full grooming and a complete "make-over". end result: he's now a botak! haha no choice cuz he had just too much entangled hair. :/ and dear dear said choco may be suffering from depression due to his new looks now. its okay, hair will still GROW back! haha

friday
was asked to attend this compelling service night event which takes place twice a year. the theme was masquerade. the venue was at orchidville which is very near to mandai. quite a wulu n inaccessible plc. dint take much pics as we were busy cheering n savouring the food. haha managed to catch up with afew ex colleagues there. the whole thing ended close to 11pm and dear dear fetched me home! :D hehe and lobang my 3 other colleagues hm too. chauffeuring them straight to their doorstep. after sending the last colleague back hm at defu lane, we lost our way! unfamilar with the routes, we tried to drive back n guess what?! we ended up in kallang! zzz! then we stopped at the petrol station n bought a directory guidebk. but the bk was of no help lo. very hard to apprehend the maps. ! dear dear suggested using the iphone gps system and it helps! very useful n cool leh. we follow the directions instructed by the iphone n finally we reach my hm! wasted half an hr of petrol wandering ard the streets lehh. in the end, i reached hm at past midnight! zzz now i know the nxt time we get lost, the iphone wil come into handy. heheh :)

had supper at jalan kayu on friday night with dear dear after my wrk. it has been a long time since the last tym we makan there le. more crowded than before, seems like its gonna be a "chomp-chomp" no. 2 for hangouts by youngsters. the coral fish shop beside it shifted le. sobx. no more viewing of beautiful coral tanks :/

wanted to order the giant paper tosai but it was sold out! zzz and so we ended up with the usual mee goreng n chicken satay sticks. heheh and with my long-lost fav bandung drink! yuppie

usually i would take a cab hm late in the wee hrs from dear dear's hse on sundays. but yester was special! it was the 1st tym ever in 5 years that dear dear drives me home. the feeling was great yet indescribable. thank you so much dear dear. although i may be the whiniest gf and sometimes an unreasonable one, i know u have always try ur very best to give me- your love, comfort n everything. muackz

had a severe bout of monday bluez yesterday. i was like tossing on/off the bed while deciding to go or not to go for wrk. which i ended up - overslept! gosh! got no choice but to go dwn to raffles medical to "buy" a mc in the afternoon. heheh

had lunch over at amk old market for a plate of nicely fried carrot cake! then head dwn to city hall for raffles clinic, initial plan was to go funan for some misc. but skipped tt. passed by the taiwan xin wang cafe and some memories just naturally revived back. of course, we went in to try since ah kat wants some high tea . haha i wanted to see if i could find the feeling back frm taiwan. hahah but no leh. 50% onli bahs. but the foood r not bad leh. i love the mushroom + pork thicken soup, the mango pudding n pearl milk tea. gonna try the iced calamarsi tea next tym

caught "ghosts of girlfriends past" movie at vivo on sat. i love the show man! its funny and yet its also a touching romance story which taught viewers a fair bit of relationship tactics. thumbs up! :D b4 the show, we had hotpot (again?!?) at vivocity hotpot chinese restaurant. prices r slightly on the steep side but the food r just as gd as expected. theres even cooked food like fried chicken wing, fried rice n kway tiao. i think im addicted to hotpot unknowingly le, without realising. hotpot craze! heheh didnt manage to tk any pics for the food as we r ald starving! hahah gluttons us!

some quick/lazy updates for the past few days.

craving for steamboat again, and this tym round tog with dear dear and ah kat we went to the chongqing steamboat which serves crayfishs! woohoos 1st tym seeing coffeeshop steamboat has crayfish as one of their "liao". so i panic and grab! hahah :X

we ended up with several plates of empty crayfish shells after the filling dinner. heheh burps*

watched Aliens VS Monsters 3D at night. it was my 1st tym watching a 3D movie leh. wearing the 3D specs is abit uncomfortable nia. but the effects is great! the characters almost come to life! anyhow the show is damn hilarious and freaking lame. hahah then we had supper after that at amk coffeeshop.

had late night mahjong session yesterday with ah hui n ah kat. its a last min thingy. initially there'e 4 players but the 4th one dunno how to play and we r plain lazy to teach. so ended up with only 3 players. but game is still per as normal. the whole game ended till 2am, wanted to finish the last round of "bei" but ah kat keep "tio zhen" so cant stand it ended the game quick and cabbed hm. hahah my hands r getting itchy again while im blogging this. mj, anyone?

the day b4 ... on (03/06/09)

went out with anna and ah kat (again?!? haha) to catch a movie. we decided on angels VS demons after much indecisive discussions. the movie is great! it has a reallly unexpected twist towards the ending. the storyline is very smartly done. but do not expect any real angels nor demons in the show. which i did. haha
had aston's for lunch b4 the movie cuz i hav steak craving again. after the show, anna left earlier and ah kat have a craving for steamboating so we had "chong qing" steamboat for dinner. dear dear came along to join ah kat n me cuz he was hungry too. as usual lar lols. we ate all the way till 10plus den went to the new iluma for a walk.

sudden got an urgent urge to get my hands on the mahjong tiles. hahah so asked ah kat for a mj session at her hse. tog wif anna, ah kat, her sis and me. just nice! bought along taiwan goodies and souvineirs for them. heheh ah kat is nice enuff to share her raspberry vodka with us which i bought for her frm the duty free shops. the liquor is too strong without any mixed soft drinks lehh. but the flavour is nice! i want to try my red ruby vodka too! heheh

i dont really look forward to friday, simply bcuz it will be our last day in taiwan. sobx

the flight is in the evening so by afternoon we hav to be at the airport. which means, we only left with less than half of the day to shop. :/

wake up slightly late than usual, had our breakfast before returning back to our hotel room to pack our stuffs. too much things to bring back to sg le. took some pictures in the hotel room to bring memories back to sg. then we checked out and left our luggages at the reception b4 heading to "xin guang" departmental store for our last shopping! heard tt its one of the largest deparmental store in taiwan. true enuff, it was 12 storey high with different level of shops cater to different group of consumers. after a couple hrs of shopping, its time to head back to the airport in taipei with the help of the tour guide transport. back to sg and back to the reality!:/

day 4

was awaken by dear dear early in the morning to pull me out of bed. that was like 730am lor! yawns. as usual, had our breakfast at taiwan milk king again, pre-arranged by the hotel. then we continued with our own tour to... TAIPEI ZOO!

the mrt journey ride was one hr or so, and the train was fully jam-packed with ppl all bcuz it was a public holiday in taiwan. - the eating dumpling day. the queue to the entrance of the zoo lined up all the way to across the street. tts was so exaggerating man! and i began to understand why. all bcuz of the giant panda that had just arrived in taipei zoo early this yr which everyone are looking forward to. lols. high anticipation!

but first half of the day was a complete letdown! the visit to the zoo is totally a wrong mistake. 1st its very crowded and hot. then to add on, almost all the animals r on "off/annual leave" as it seems like the exhibits r all empty. to make it worst, the two giant pandas, that everyone r anticipating, are sleeping in one corner which almost half of their body is blocked by the rocks. aargh! as if its still not bad enuff, the mac queue in the zoo is damn long that we queue for an hr just for a meal. zzz nvr will i visit taipei zoo again! sg zoo is so much better in these aspects. taipei zoo- big disappointment! :/

second half of the day, we were at danshui. an old street surrounded with lake n the scenary is just so beautiful at night. intended to visit the lover's bridge at the old pier but the sky was getting dark so we gave it a miss. awww! shall visit the bridge next tym round! danshui was just as crowded too as ppl r rejoicing to celebrate the dumpling festival. danshui is famous for its eggs whether its chicken eggs, or small quill eggs or even tie dan. so as usual, dear dear bought 2 sticks of quill eggs first thing in his mind sia once we reached there. hahah and the grilled bbq sotong is so big n yummy man! black beancurd with red & green beans soup is sweet too! and we managed to witness the fireworks too. beautiful! and it lasted 20mins. so longgg hor?

after shopping at danshui, we headed back to shilin for more shopping. time to do some last min shopping as the next day will be the last day le. :( sobx bought some clothings for deardear's n mine family as gifts. quite cheap leh. business shirt n tie only at S$30. then we cabbed back to ximending where our hotel is. cab fare was only ten bucks. how i wish sg cab fare is as cheap as those in taiwan! hahah :x and home sweet home in the hotel room...:D

had breakfast at taiwan milk king store arranged by the hotel. free & easy tour starts frm today le whoos. no more tour guide n transport provided. its all up to us now.

without wasting any time, we headed to longshan temple which is only one stop mrt-ride away frm ximending. read frm the travel guidebk that longshan temple is one of the famous attraction stop in taiwan. yea so decided to tk a look though im not frm buddhist religion. all i can say is there's a wide range of gods and i bought afew lucky charms back for my family and his. heheh so cuteee!

then lunchtime we headed to "Butaya" where there's a restuarant owned by Jay Chou. their signature dish? fried pork fillet with cheesy cheese! live up to its name leh. really really heavenly. lols and there's a pet pig which they reared just outside the shop entrance. pig=pork fillet? heheh i guess this is one of the best thing i would miss since im back in sg. anyone who goes taiwan must really try this!

nextup, we headed to Taipei 101 which is also few mrt stops away. how convenient! heheh the world tallest building as of to date. we went up all the way to the observatory storey at 89th floor to take pictures and up to the 91st storey for a breathtaking outdoor experience. woohoos! the wind is damn strong and windy. can really hear the sound of the wind movements nia. feel like im almost drifting away with the wind. hahah afterwhich do some shopping at the bottom levels of the shopping mall. almost all are high end stores just like raffles city and ngee ann city. that's the only place i can feel that im back in sg. hahah bought stuffs frm swarovski and coach and some rose tea leaves bag.

return back to ximending for dinner. past by a cute restaurant which is on "wu chong xian" variety show b4, so decided to give it a try. its a poopoo restaurant with all the poopoo toilet bowls and bathtub as decorations and dining ware. the serving portion is huge, food is alright and what really matters is the cute ambience of the dining experience.

finally, we do some shopping ard ximending b4 we return back to our cosy hotel bedroom. bought some snacks on the way home as usual. hahah

accompanied with a friendly tour guide, and 3 other singaporean tourists we went for a day of sightseeing.

had a sumptuous breakfast provided by the hotel early in the morning, then headed to yehliu geography park to see the world amazing rocks (the shape of queen's head) which can only be found in taiwan n perth.

nextup, headed to chiufen which is another shopping & food paradise situated at the top of the mountains.

then finally to the famous national palace museum to see the priceless treasures uncovered during the chinese dynasty. finally get to see the jade cabbage that dear dear had always wan to see. hehe
that marks the end of our one day tour with the tour guide. fully fun packed with interesting places!

sooo... time for our very own "er ren shi jie" wif dear dear. hehe after the tour guide drive us to the hotel, we had a short rest be4 heading down to ximending which is juz beside our hotel for dinner. went to the popular "ah chong mee suan" for dinner which is damn crowded. we saw ppl crowding around the stall, standing n having their bowl of meesuan on the street. what an interesting sight! yea i noe abit suan gu haha the super big cup of authentic taiwan bubble tea is yummy too. after dinner contiune with our shopping around ximending which is so big tat we nearly lost our way in the big maze-like streets.

had dinner at aston's!

heard frm ah kat that the food there is affordable n nice, and the previous time i passed by the place, it was damn long queue man. so decided to give it a try.

of course we ordered steak lar. aston's is famous for its wagyu beef n steak mahs. although i dun really eat steak, i can say tt aston's has the arguably best steak here. the steak has a very nice fragance of charred smell and u can choose the degree of donesss of ur steak depending on ur liking. and the best thing is there's no blood stain even for medium rare steak! i hate to see blood on my dish haha and the meat is very soft tender!

the other day, went to catch UNINVITED with ah kat n tingting. it was our very 1st time catching a movie together, our 1st horror movie. hahas not a bad show leh! at least this horror show has a storyline and a very unexpected twist towards the end. heheh b4 the movie, we had a kbox session at cineleisure. its has been long, since we had one together. overall, its a great outing. and there's more to come ya! heheh :D pics to be uploaded soon*

dear dear ask mi blog for her so here i am again.

well, knock off early today then was suppose to accompany dear dear go buy luggage in the end nv coz dear dear said ah kat bring her to mustafa to buy coz it's cheaper there so she n ah kat go mustafa to buy m i was left to rot at home while waiting for them to buy le then meet them for supper at chomp chomp for dinner yet again. LOL. i'm addicted to de sambal stingray le. damn additive man.

finally dear dear call mi at around 730 n told mi they ok le i can go meet them le. but i was late coz waiting for mrt n cab n had to make ah kat n dear dear wait for mi. sorry wor ah kat n dear dear.n ah kat thought i was angry which i wasn't coz i was so hungry le tat i think i showing black face. sorry wor ah kat. anyway when we reach chomp chomp the place was so crowded lor tat we had to wait almost 10 mins for a seat man. n we had a big feast today. we ordered a big size sambal stingray, chui chui, satay, hokkein mee, chicken wing, satay mee hoon n 2 gigantic cup of lychee water. but frankly the satay bee hoon was a disappointment man i think the one at amk market is nicer lor. n the lychee water not sweet enough although it's full of lychee.

after finish everything le dear dear n ah kat was full le but i was still half full onli lor. dear dear said i piggy lei. which i think so too. hehe. then next we went to ice cube for the magic potion ice cream since i wan to try so i ordered a magic potion n dear dear n ah kat ordered a fruit crepe wif green tea ice cream although they complain tat they r full le. n the 3 of us still manage to finish everything. hehe. well time for some pic...

had super supper at chomp chomp after my work on the fri night with dear dear. it was his 1st time there!

we ordered the must-have extra spicy sambal stingray and the usuals. and a special dish called "chui chui". its a kinda of seashell snails similar to "gong gong", just that have to suck the meat out. for mi its a bit gross cant take it man. haha

sambal stingray is really addictive man! totally agreed with ah kat! dear dear says he wants to come back again after the supper feast. haha lols and i so wanna try the lychee jumbo drink the next time round! yum~

woohoos! u know what?! i'm granted 3wks of offs + annual leaves. all the way till 6june!

for the time being...
no more work.
no more waking up EARLY in the morning.
no more running after bus like some kind of madwoman.
no more back/shoulders aches.
no more having nightmares of counting heaps of money during sleep.
phew!

perhaps its time to rethink what i really want, and what i really wan to do in the near future. mayb im still living in denial . refusing to accept the facts and come to terms with reality. aside to these, im flying off to taipei in less than 2wks time! so excitedddd! hav been getting requests frm ppl buying stuffs back to sg. ranging frm tie dan, tai yang bing, nu ren wo jiu mei cosmetics, mozzie-free body soap... anymore? ...

gonna pack my luggage next wk and exchange some new taiwan dollars. and not to forget, catch up with friends that i have been missing all this while. its gathering time! till then~ :D

jio ah kat for supper late at night at chomp chomp to eat till my heart's content. wanted to drown myself with food.

we ordered sambal stingray with extra spicy sambal (my fav!), spicy stir-fry lala, jumbo sized sugarcane juice, hokkien prawn mee, satay sticks...
end results : bloated yet satisfied! haha
its still nt enuff, we headed down to the alley for some chill-out at the cafe bar. forget the name le. but their magic potion is yummy n special. stayed till wee hours and cabbed hm. oh and i saw my long-lost-touch sec mate there too! so QIAO!

watched handsome suit & fast&furious 4 last wk...

wanted to watch handsome suit after watching the thriller on the big screen ler. i love movie which has a twist in the ending, and handsome suit has one! hahah go watch it man!

as for fast&furious4, dear dear wanted very much to watch it. always try to imagine himself as one of the car drivers/racers. hardcore leh. =p haha
the show dun hav as much race as i expected! but nice storyline la.

had waraku n fish&co for dinner last wk. dear dear nv tried b4 waraku so i bought him there. the smell of cabonara pasta still lingers in my mouth. hehe

on sat, had fish&co all bcuz i was craving for seafood! so we ordered seafood platters for 2. their signature dish! yumyum. really got the satisfaction when we stepped out of the restaurant with a bloated stomach. =p

then had hot steamboat at "chong qing" wif my dear friends for supper on a sunday night. not bad wor. can consider to go there again. hehe

did some shopping, but nothing caught my eyes so far. dear dear bought some homme facialcare, a labseries toner, bodyshop age-defying eye-cream and a kose face mask. vain-pot lehh :X

here i am blogging away on a lazy monday afternoon. decided to "buy" an MC today due to a serious bout of monday blues. haha as for now, im gorging myself to a tub of BEN&JERRY'S chery garcia ice-cream! yum yum savouring every bit of life! how i wish i could enjoy life like this everyday! heheh please slap mi. im day-dreaming again. haha

next wk onwards, i will start to learn practical driving le bahs. no more procrastinations! gonna get my PDL on tis thurs le. i hope. till then!

HAPPY 64th months! Dear dear always complain i'm not romantic enough so decided to give her a surprise on our 64th monthsary hehe.. so i went to jurong pt after work where there is a shop which let customsers self-decorate cake so i DIY a cake as a surprise for dear dear. hehe.

nextup, on sunday which is our actual 64th month, i went to da pao crab bee hoon for dear dear as dinner coz she have been saying tat she wan eat crabs for so long le. LOL!!

finally meet out with my poly yr 1 mates after 3 whole months of planning! got my belated 21st bd present frm dem too. like finally man! haha its a longchamp big size carrier bag! ya AGAIN!? zzz hahah and at the same time, celebrated VAN's 21st bd in advanced as well. its another longchamp bag too which BALL gt for her. i wonder if there's a buy 1 get 1 free promotion hahah :X

yeah. we celebrated over a simple dinnerfare at PASTA INC which is VERY way out from town. the resturant was damn small too. and i really mean it. haha its the size of a master bedroom only LOR! zzz and the whole place was like fillled with us only, since there are 9 of us and we occupied most of the surface area already! hahah but the food compensate for it. their signature dish was the squid BLACK INK seafood pasta which appeared to be not bad. the yummy seafood is damn fresh-ily sweeeet. !

after everything, we took a cab down over to PS starbucks to have a cuppa of caffaine dose. we talk about LIFE, we laugh, we cam-whored, we chilled.

hope to have a doggie cum human gathering soon as promised! :D

friends have been asking me to do some updates on my blog. but life has been rather monotonous for me. perhaps not, mayb im just illusion-ing to be that way. when is the last time, i really let my hair down n do some shopping or chilling out, without having to worry anything. i hate this kinda of life. its not being me at all. gonna put a stop to it;everything.

lady luck isnt on my side for the past weeks. the previous wk, went over to toapayoh HDB hub to confirm and made payment for our BTO apartment only to realise they left with 3rd storey n below for a 4-room. totally waste of time. no choice have to say goodbye to "arcadia" premium flats. but we managed to make applications for the government housing loan, only to be granted $310+K due to our combined income. zzz! meaning to say, the rest we have to pay thru cpf or cash. !!! this is crazy. no wonder my brother always harbour the thought of migrating.

notice that i have never mention anything abt work in my blog? cuz there's nth much worth mentioning abt aside from the after-work activities. haha the recession has been lurking around and making an impact in the banks industry, but i have not FEEL the effects of it until recently. no its not retrenchment, but its even worse. making reforms n changes to our working lifestyles. no more work one wk, and having the luxury to rest the following wk. its like, they dun kill but instead they torture. its worse-off in that sense.

but life isnt that bad afterall. for i know, whatever terrible things that happen-ed, i still have dear dear by my side. always. thats all i need. im contented. :)

went to catch this show over the wkend. hilarious is the word. haha

celebrated shihui's belated birthday on mon. she invited us over to Shangri-LA the line international buffet restaurant for dinner. its my first time stepping into Shangri-la hotel wor. wasnt as grand as i expected. haha

the dinner buffet topped the "most variety of food" in the food gourmet list. but quality wise, it is so-so only.
butttt the big cheesy lobster is heavenly lar, complimentary frm her colleague chefs all thanks to shihui. hahah

we left the resturant at 11pm! 5hrs long of food marthathon! but of course i raised the white flag after one hr of non-stop eating. as usual la. haha the guys can really eat man! :X

last thursday was my colleague's last day at work for she's transferring out to another branch. i will definitely miss her sarcastic way of speaking to customers hahah :X

had a simple farewell dinner buffet at branch which ended at ard 10pm. then they suggested for a drink or a karaoke session at k garden. which i am so reluctant to go. caiyun promised it will going to be a short one. not wanting to be a spoilsport, i tagged along.

without realising, we ended up at lavender when i was in the car chatting away. okay i was tricked. its not gonna be a drink or two , nor a k session. we went to this club giorgio which is a nightclub for ladies. high class pub for ladies looking for pimp/fun. its not as sleazy as i imagined out to be. i must admit afew guys there are real good looking and young. to "booked" one would only cost $50. hahah of cuz im not interested lar. the bill ran up to $600+ that night. not surprisely at all , cuz we drank 6 towers of beer. :X luckily i went home earlier at 1am! haaa

its just gonna be a one-time experience and an eye-opener for me. nothing more. :D

and i did! come to think of it, i have been watching jennifer aniston movies two times in a row. and my bro thought i was crazy over her -_-!.

it's a must-watch movie especially for dog lovers! have been anticipating the show ever since the thriller was out last november. apparently, dear dear was comparing choco with marley throughout the 2hrs-long show. yea i know its just natural la. haha marley was/is so loved by his "parents" even though he is sucha naughtly pupp, hmnm just like choco is so loved by dear dear and me even with his ever-lasting stunts and naughty bad traits heheh =p

overall, i must say its a touching story with a tinge of heartwarming feel. that explains why dear dear sobs sobs towards the ending. heheh =p

gonna give choco a big big hug when i see him after watching this show! oh and not forgetting cookie too! :D

heard frm my colleagues that this show is nice, quite smilar to "love actually" movie. dear dear took half day leave on mon to pei me, so we decided to catch this movie at amk hub. wad a slack mon to start with. haha

all the stuffs mentioned in the show on relationships are so true man! totally agree!

i would give a ****stars rating , cuz bradley cooper is just so hot in the show. =p

its a day to celebrate by exchanging tokens of affections or friendship on this Saint Valentines day.

on recent celebrated occasions we r so used to spending few hundreds dollars on extravagance items just to satisfy on the materials gains.
this year vday, dear dear & i decided on exchanging handmade gifts instead, so as not to succumb on materials desires. yeah!

its a candlelit dinner at a poolside garden restuarant at marina mandarin hotel. not that i fancy these romantic traditional settings, but i really look forward to it , since its gonna be a "once in a year" thing. heheh

wanted to get a shetland sheepdog since few months back le cuz his charming looks is too irresistable! dear dear thought so too wor hehe so one fine day, we went over to serangoon pet shop, saw a pet shop selling a cute one there! and we brought him home after much considerations. yuppies!

hope everything is fine, as cookie had an undescended testicles condition. gonna seek advice from a vet soon! as for now, choco & cookie is busy playing/fighting with each other. daddy deardear will be busy le hahah! =p

had steamboat-ing for reunion dinner at home on chu xi with my family. dinner ended at ard 6plus. which was darn early lar. so daddy and the rest went to chinatown to watch the firecrackers while my elder bro and i each went to our gf/bf hse heheh for a second round of dinner :X but i was too bloated liao , could only watch dear dear and his family eat .... hahah

went to dear dear's hse to bai nian on CHU 1! heheh 1st priority mahs and slack ard after that.. zzz
his aunts and uncles came to his hse too, so paisehs to receive angbaos frm dem heheh

CHU 3, dear dear had to went back for work le cuz he so suay draw lots picked until himself. lols speechless!

met up with ah hui for lunch at ding tai fung and den shopped ard. wanted to go reds to do my hair but it was closed! shopped ard and saw a lancome eyeliner which suits what i wanted, but it was out of stock! urghs! just not my day man!

afterwhich, i went to meet dear dear after his work at Jurong point for dinner at THE GOURMET BUFFET. wanted to try it as it was part of TUNG LOK grp and the chili crabs just seem so tempting!
